Winter Mountain Expedition
Setting:
The overall setting of this event is an “Outdoor” Mood or feel, complete with a Snow Capped Mountain Backdrop with Cabin façade nestled into the setting. Cabin façade is complete with split rail fences, cedar trees, faux rocks and snow.
Enhancements:
Upon arrival guests are invited into room location where the sound of nature is quietly murmuring in the background. Sounds of the wind whispering through the pine trees are in harmony with the chirping of birds and the occasional howl of other wild animals.
Mountain guides greet the guests as they press further into forest where they are invited to partake in celebratory beverages found at the Alpine bar. For this event the setting is to be made complete with Crystal Snowflake sculptures and candelabra pillars.
Expedition beverages include: Winter Sangria (Apple, quince and pear infused Red wine with hints of spice) or Cranberry Spritzers (White wine with a dash of cranberry compote, sparkling soda and orange twist). Beverages have a twist of fun as they contain ice cubes that glow!
Guests are free to mix and mingle through the entire room. Guides are on hand at all times to provide Trail blazing energy snacks from their knapsacks, or to service guests with more hearty appetizers as they flow from the cabin kitchen. Guests may also choose to serve themselves from the three food stations available (please see attached menus).
As the evening progresses, our cheery guests find their way back through the forest to their own cabins to retire for the night. Tomorrow promises to be another hectic day on the expedition!

Autumn Squash Pakoras with Chili Plum Sauce
Gathering of squash and autumn vegetables in form of fritter, held together in a feather light chickpea batter. Crunchy with interesting flavor combinations that are more pronounced with the chili plum sauce. We call this theatre of the mouth!!!
Marinated Woodland Mushrooms on Chianti Crostini
Brandy marinated trio of Shitaki, crimini and Portobello mushrooms, served on a red wine soaked baguette slice. Robust flavors make this a fantastic hors’doeurve on its’ own or as a great as an accompaniment with cheese

Savory warm waffles with luscious cream cheese, topped with Applewood smoked trout and fragrant dill
